High cleaning performance is achieved using two main brushes in combination with one side brush. It collects both coarse debris (such as wood chips, paper scraps and even small plastic bottles) and fine dust such as cement powder. The dust collection function with HEPA filter reduces airborne dust. The machine is extremely portable thanks to its light weight.

The Makita VS001G sweeper, powered by 40Vmax XGT batteries®, is ideal for cleaning workshops and warehouses. The machine can operate on a single battery; a second battery increases its running time. The two height-adjustable main brushes on the underside of the machine not only pick up fine dust but also larger objects such as cups or 500 ml plastic bottles. The side brushes efficiently clean the edges of walls. The dust collection function with HEPA filter reduces airborne dust. The electric filter cleaning system, which uses vibration, prevents the filter from becoming clogged with fine dust. Thanks to its lightweight and compact design, it is easy to manoeuvre in confined spaces, which also makes it easier to transport. The cleaning width is just 800 mm, so the machine can fit through a standard interior door. The VS001G offers a wide range of settings, and the control panel is located on the handle for easy access. There is a switch to activate the filter cleaning function, LED lighting and to switch on the side brushes. For the rotation speed of the main and side brushes, you can choose between standard mode or silent mode. Standard mode is designed to efficiently sweep up large quantities of dust and debris. Quiet mode is used for cleaning areas where a low noise level is required.
